JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Social Worker within Child and Family, you will be part of a workgroup consisting of a unit manager, team leader, and eight social workers.

The main tasks consist of investigation, processing, and follow-up of interventions according to both SoL and LVU. The work is characterized by collaboration both internally and with external actors such as schools, BUP, and police. In accordance with BBIC and Signs of Safety, we work closely with families and their networks to create a safe and predictable situation.

The individual and family welfare authority is a workplace where we care for each other and our work environment. The workgroup in child and family is a group with good collaboration, great openness, and we have high ceilings. We support and help each other in assessments and decisions. As a social worker, in addition to regular case discussions and case reviews with your team leader, you will have continuous external supervision. For us, it is important to take care of those who start working with us. As a new employee, you will receive an introduction tailored to your needs and conditions, as well as a special mentor who guides you in your work. You have the opportunity to work from home up to two days a week. You can take out one hour of wellness per week.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have a degree in social work and preferably experience in child protection investigations, processing, and documentation according to SoL and LVU.
  • We expect you to be able to work independently, be flexible, and have good social skills, as well as being a responsible and committed person.
  • You should have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, as well as computer skills.

Having a professional approach is, of course, important in our work. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, and selection will take place during the application period.

OTHER

The position is vacant provided that there is no surplus, need for reassignment, or priority within the municipality. A probationary period may be applied.
